Premium Wordpress Design (Part 5)
Part 1 of the CSS Process, oh yeah.
February 12, 2009 by Gary Simon
This is the first part of the CSS of our premium wordpress design video tutorial (Wow, what a mouthful, gotta get those keywords in!). Since CSS takes the longest in this entire process, I wasn’t able to finish everything. There will be at least 1 more, possibly 2 more videos to fully cover the CSS process. Enjoy!
Oh and of course I jacked up the beginning when I mention “font-color:”, it’s simply “color:”. That was a brainfart.

Great video, Gary! Great info and gave me some ideas for my next wordpress theme. I enjoy the free videos and you’ve inspired me to launch a blog of my own in the near future giving away some of the information I have learned about design and blogging in the past 5 or so years.
Kudos

Great tuts. Do the paid tuts also come with profanity or are they edited?
Anyhow looking forward to the next parts in these series, thanks.
Ps: Does the title heading “WORPRESS” intentionally have the “d” left out? ;).

I wasn’t trying to be a rude the first time, but seriously the main header “worpress” is missing a “d” (above the “Part 1 of the CSS Process, oh yeah.”). Perhaps this was intentional, but since no one else has picked up on it we’ll never know.

To get rid of all the inherited margins and paddings you could try:
* {
margin:0;padding:0;
}
Anyway, great video as always, keep them coming.
