Premium Wordpress Design (Part 7)
Part 3 of the CSS Process (ending the css portion)
February 21, 2009 by Gary Simon
Well this one could have ended up being a disaster as I had just finished drinking and took 2 sleeping pills, but fortunately I knocked it out. This is the final stage in the CSS process. In the next parts, we’ll integrate it into wordpress which is the final section. Enjoy!

Dude, these have really been helpful. I really need to master this. BTW, what program are you using to create these tutorials. They’re very well done! Can’t wait for part 8!

Thanks for the tutorials, they´re great. I´ve been following them, I stumbled upon one problem.. In part 5, when the css on the header is done, as soon as I define its height, (for the background image bit) it pushed my rss button down quite a bit, and I can’t get it up to its place anymore.. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.

Don’t know if this will help, but I noticed you always select with the marquee tool, copy merged, then paste into a new document to get your measurements. A really fast way you can do it is to select the Ruler tool (I), which is nested under the Eyedropper tool. Drag out and it will show you the distance. One step and you’re done!

wow Gary I don’t think you should mix beer with sleeping pills.
“I am feeling tired but it’s nice” that’s the beer and pills talking.
great tutorials and you pulled it off all the way to the footer.
I think I will go an have a bottle of Heineken too.

Max, sounds like in your HTML the rss code is not inside the actual header.
baloch: didn’t you read the recent study that suggests taking sleeping pills will protect your liver from alcohol?
..
ok that was a lie, sometimes I like to fool myself into justifying my actions. in all honesty though i don’t ever do that regularly ;)

Really looking forward to part 8 I pretty much knew how to get to video 7 but it was a nice refresher! Can’t wait to see how you integrate this into a Wordpress template with Wordpress tags. Will be very interesting. Thank you for giving these guides out they are great.

Gary,
Are the tutorials you offer at the site for the $50 as well structured and step-by-step as these? If so, I’m sold.
